What to Say When Inviting Someone
to Practice Spiritual Partnership
Imagine that you are now open and want to invite an intimate partner, family member, friend, or co-worker to practice with you. What should you say?
We suggest the following:
“(use the person’s name), I want to practice creating authentic power with you. It will help me learn about myself when I become angry and upset with you. Instead of trying to change you, I intend to change myself. Would you be open to this?â€Â
“Can we agree to keep what we share private?”
Let’s assume that the person agrees.
If they don’t agree, you can still create authentic power by yourself. If they have questions, check the Wisdom Library for answers to frequent questions and concerns.
