Putting My Toe in First

For the next few days try the following experiment:

Think about a choice that stretches you; for example, do not consider
“What flavor ice cream will I eat?”
but, instead:
“Is eating this ice cream the healthiest choice for me?”

Then consider each possible option you have.

Do this without the energy of commitment. Just preview each option using this four-step process:

  1. Think about it.
  2. Feel the physical sensations in your solar plexus, chest, and throat areas.
  3. See how you feel inside about choosing the option you are considering.
  4. Then choose.
